As Melbourne welcomes spring for 2020, one year ago Seafarers embraced the new season with a breathtaking sea of over 150,000 tulips.
Part of a large-scale zero-waste installation by sustainable designer and eco-warrior Joost Bakker, Riverlee, Victoria Farmers and Melbourne Markets, 150,000 tulips lined the banks of Yarra River offering complimentary blooms to lucky Melburnians passing by, shining a much-needed light on the importance of sustainability and supporting locally grown produce #buylocal
